My profile pic was taken at Vintage Vinyl in St. Louis! June 6, 2008.
I have a beautiful bride-Rhonda Annette. We started dating the same month that Hitchhike to Rhome was released.
We have produced to wonderful boys- Trevor Carroll-9 & Kile Thomas-5.
I love my family more than anything in this world.
I am the owner of one of the best Pizzerias on the planet. Papa Cella's Pizza Chef in Jonesboro AR.
Back to the family:
We spend most of our time at the ballpark during the spring and summer. Both boys are playing baseball this year. Trevor made the Allstar team this year, so we will be playing ALL summer. We also love to watch the Cardinals and go to Memphis to see their triple A team the Redbirds!
All four of us are huge 97'S fans. I have been enjoying their music since the album Too Far Too Care. But as soon as I was introduced to that album I went and found all the previous ones. Hitchhike to Rhome is my favorite. I have listened to that cd so many times that it feels like I have been around since the beginning.
Kile's favorite song is Big Brown Eyes. Trevor's song is Won't Be Home.
Rhonda's song is Buick City Complex. And my favorite song is ALL of them. Seriously. I love all of their music including Rhett's solo stuff and even Sleepy Heroes on an occassion.
I took my wife to the Pageant in the summer of '07 to see them Live for the first time. Though I had been trying to get her to listen to them for 10 yrs, I never got through to her. The night she saw them Live, they became her favorite band. I tried to tell her. Anyway, better late than never.
Old 97's (what would you expect, That's why we're here, RIGHT?)
Rhett Miller, Murry Hammond, Ranchero Brothers, I Love Math,
Sorta, Sparrows, the traveling Limbeck band, Todd Snider, Hayes Carll, Slobberbone, the Drams, the Format, JOHN PRINE(who is unbelievable in concert!), Robbie (Scrapple) Fulks.
I don't have any favorite movie. But, I can sit and watch any comedy from the 80's. I am and 80's kid what can I say.
Most of the books read these days are for my kids.
I'll read anything about baseball.
Would like to see a biography about the 97's. wait, the first 4 letters in the word biography look familiar. B.I.O.G. raphy. Is this a coincidence?
People of Interest:
my favorite people in my life are my wife and kids.
Anyone else, come on in, but you will always be behind my family.
Would love to meet Rhett, Murry, Ken, and Phillip. I would probably be too nervous to say anything cool, but would still enjoy the experience. Mission accomplished! June 6, 2008 in St. Louis. NOW, I would love to introduce them to my sons.
I got to introduce my son Trevor to Todd Snider when he played a show here in our hometown. He was gracious and it was a wonderful time.
Todd even gave Trev one of his harmonicas.
Would also like to meet a lot of different people in baseball. Too many to mention.
